Intervention Team

An intervention team is a multi-disciplinary school team that serves to provide the necessary educational support to promote individual school success. Intervention team can address any academic or behavioral concern that impacts academic performance. The intervention team will develop and monitor changes in instruction which may prove to move the student towards the desired goal or target areas that may need further evaluation. The intervention team process is one component of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). Intervention Team is Tier III. Intervention Team meetings for the 2016-2017 school year will be held on Thursdays from 8:00-9:30. Please contact your grade level counselor for more details.

Teacher Referral
A teacher may refer a student to the Intervention Team after meeting with parents and completing Tier II interventions and progress monitoring.

Parent Referral
Parents may refer their child to the Intervention Team for academic or behavior concerns by contacting the grade level counselor by e-mail or at 980-343-0689. Please note that Tier II interventions will still have to be implemented.
